Here you will find photos and descriptions of my interests and a few of the volunteer opportunities I have had. This section of my portfolio is where you can really get to know me.

Chi Omega provided me with much more than just being a part of an organization. It gave me something to be a part of bigger than myself along with leadership opportunities, networking communications, and the best group of people to surround myself with.

One thing majorly important to me is my family. Without the support of them, I would not be where I am today, or who I am today. I strive to do my best every day to show them how appreciative I am of the opportunities they have given me. My mother, Debbie, is my hero. She is my sole support system and my best friend. She has given me everything I need to be successful and I am incredibly grateful.

Friendship is a blessing in many ways. Not only is my family a support system, but my friends as well. Being able to socialize with your peers is extremely important to me because we all need that connection. Without my best friends I have made at William Woods, I wouldn't be nearly as happy or successful. My friends have been helpful, and I'm incredibly thankful.

One fundraising event our chapter put on for Make-A-Wish, was the Scoop A Dish event. We opened this event up to the campus and students and professors paid $3 for a bowl of ice cream, and unlimited toppings. All of the money went towards our goal of granting a wish. In 2016, our chapter granted 18 year old, Andrew, wish to go to Hawaii.

In September of 2016, a few Chi Omega members volunteered to support childhood cancer and the Super Sam Foundation. We were required to help sell raffle tickets, and other various game tickets. At the end of the event, Chi Omega was presented with an award from Cassie, the creator of the Super Sam Foundation, for having such an impact on their lives and foundation.

In 2015, Chi Omega volunteered at the Central Pantry food bank before Christmas time. We were required to stock food boxes full of non perishable goods for delivery to the community. This volunteer opportunity was very eye opening for me, and provided me with a feeling that I have never felt before. It motivated me to do better in the world.
